温州医科大学自1998年开始招收全日制护理学专科学生,2001年成立护理学院,同年,招收护理本科学生,2006年开始招收护理研究生,2018年开始招收助产学专业学生。

护理学院坚持立德树人根本任务,秉承“勤勉、仁爱、慎独、求真”的院训精神,致力于培养“厚基础,强技能,重人文,求创新”高级护理人才,学生参加挑战杯”“互联网+”等竞赛获全国一等奖、金奖等奖项,护理本科毕业生参加国家执业资格考试通过率持续保持100%。学院已为社会输送7000余名毕业生,是浙江省集临床、教学、科研和管理为一体的护理学人才培养的主要基地。

学院拥有一级学科硕士点,先后获批浙江省高校重点学科、浙江省“十二五”“十三五”优势专业、浙江省重点专业2016年护理学本科专业省内率先通过国家教育部本科专业认证,2019年护理专业获批国家一流专业建设点。

学院拥有省部共建高校实验室、浙江省实验示范中心,有配套齐全的护理实验设备,56家实力雄厚的临床见习实习基地,国内率先探索“基础-专科-综合”的三阶梯护理实验教学模式。

学院实施“人才强院”战略,积极推动学院、医院深度融合,着力打造一支结构合理、素质优良的师资队伍,现有博士生导师2人,硕士生导师26人,高级职称教师220人,具有博士学位教师7人。学院教师曾获“全国五一劳动奖章”“中国好人”“省级优秀教师”“浙江省‘三育人’先进个人”等荣誉。学院曾获“浙江省三八红旗集体”“浙江省巾帼文明岗”等荣誉。

学院积极开展教育教学研究改革,近年来,学院教师主编、参编国家规划教材等各类教材96部、各类学术专著16部,主持国家自然科学基金等各类课题300余项,在SCI等期刊发表论文600余篇;获得国家发明专利及省科技进步奖项等科研成果20余项,获全国青年教师教学基本功大赛一等奖、全国微课比赛一等奖等教学类奖项20余项。

学院坚持开放办学,先后与10余个国家(地区)的20余所高校、教育科研机构建立合作关系,国际交流日趋活跃。2011年与美国托马斯大学合作举办的护理学专业本科项目是国内首个获教育部批准的护理本科中外合作办学项目;2018年获教育部批准与泰国东方大学合作开展的护理学专业硕士学位教育项目,是学校首个中外合作办学硕士教育项目。学院响应国家“一带一路”倡议,2018年开展了全国首个非洲助产士助理培训项目“生命天使”项目,该项目2019年入选教育部“中非友谊”中国政府奖学金项目。

学院自觉践行救死扶伤、服务社会的担当,是全国第5家国际造口治疗师培训学校、浙江省专科护士及温州市红十字会初级救护培训基地。持续15年开展的急救知识宣传志愿服务,获批中国红十字志愿服务项目发展计划试点项目、中国红十字青少年社会实践项目。2020年,新冠肺炎疫情突发,学院师生积极投身这场疫情防控阻击战,停课不停学、停课不停教、服务社区和机构,无数个瞬间、无数个场景,无不展示着护理人的担当。

“谋护理师生成长,谋护理事业发展”,护理学院将怀揣初心,践行使命,秉持“院校融合、院院融合、医护融合”的理念,积极推进党建提质、人才引育、学科突破、专业提升、平台改造、社会服务、卓越护生等7大发展计划,以本科教育为主,积极发展研究生教育,以临床护理为重点,以国际化办学为特色,努力打造国内一流、有一定国际影响力的应用研究型学院,在打造浙江高素质护理人才培养“重要窗口”的过程中书写温医大护理新篇章。(数据截止2020年10月)

The School of Nursing was established in 2001. It adheres to the fundamental task of establishing moral education and upholds the motto of diligence, benevolence, prudence and truth-seeking, and is committed to cultivating advanced nursing talents with solid foundation, strong skills, humanism and innovation. Students in the school has participated and won the National First Prize, Gold Award and other prizes in the “Challenge Cup”, “Internet +” and other competitions. The passing rate of nursing graduates participating in the national practice qualification examination maintains 100%. The school has sent more than 7000 graduates to the society, and it is the main nursing talents training base in Zhejiang Province which integrates clinical practice, teaching, scientific research and management.

The school has first-level discipline master degree, and has been approved as a Key Discipline, an Advantageous Major in the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans and Key Major in Zhejiang Province. In 2016, the undergraduate nursing program was the first to be certified by the National Ministry of Education. It was later approved to be the national first-class major construction point in 2019.

The school owns university laboratories jointly built by the province and the ministry and Experimental Demonstration Center of Zhejiang Province with well-equipped nursing experimental equipment. It can arrange students to 56 fully reinforced clinical internship bases, and takes the lead in exploring the three-step nursing experimental teaching mode of “basic-special-comprehensive” in China.

The school implements the strategy of strengthening the school with talents, actively promotes the deep integration of the school and the hospital, and strives to build a reasonable structure and excellent quality of the faculty. Currently, there are 2 doctoral supervisors, 26 master supervisors, 220 teachers with senior professional titles, and 7 teachers with doctoral degrees. The faculty members of the school have been honored as “National Labor Medal”, the “Good people of China”, “Provincial Excellent Teacher”, “Advanced Individual” of educating by teaching, managing and serving in Zhejiang Province and other honors. The school has gained honors such as the “March Eighth Red Flag Collective” and “Women’s Civilization Post” of Zhejiang Province.

The school carries out vigorously educational and teaching reforms. In recent years, the teachers in the school have edited or coedited 96 various textbooks and 16 academic monographs. They have presided over more than 300 projects and have published more than 600 papers in kinds of journals. They have also obtained more than 20 scientific research achievements and over 20 teaching awards in various competitions.

Adhering to openning-up school running, it has established cooperative relations with more than 20 universities and educational and scientific research institutions in more than 10 countries or regions and thus the international exchanges are increasingly active. The undergraduate program of nursing major jointly established with Thomas University in the United States was the first sino-foreign cooperative program approved by the Ministry of Education in China in 2011. In 2018, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to carry out a master’s degree education program in nursing science in cooperation with Burapha University in Thailand, which was the first sino-foreign master’s education program in Wenzhou Medical University. In response to the Belt and the Road Initiative, the school launched the Life Angel Project that was the first training program of African midwifery assistants in 2018 which was selected into the Chinese Government Scholarship Program of the Ministry of Education named the China-Africa Friendship in 2019.

The school consciously practices the responsibility of healing the wounded, rescuing the dying and serving the society. The school is the fifth international training school for ostomy therapists (WCET) in China, the training base for specialized nurses in Zhejiang Province and the primary ambulance training base of Wenzhou Red Cross Society. It has provided volunteer service of first aid knowledge publicity for 15 years and has been approved as the pilot project of the development plan of Chinese Red Cross Volunteer Service Project and the teenager social practice project of Chinese Red Cross. When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in 2020, the faculty and students actively participated in the prevention and control of the pandemic. Though classes were suspended, they didn’t suspend learning, teaching and serving the community and institutions. In countless moments and scenes, they all showed the responsibility of caregivers.

Seeking the growth of nursing teachers and students, seeking the development of nursing career, the School of Nursing will carry the original aspiration in mind and practice the mission. It will push forward actively the seven development plans, including party building quality enhancement, talent introduction and cultivation, discipline breakthrough, major improvement, platform transformation, social service and excellent nursing students training plan. Focusing on undergraduate education, actively developing postgraduate education, focusing on clinical nursing, featuring internationalization, and striving to build a domestic first-class and internationally influential applied research institute, the university will write a new chapter of nursing in the process of building an “important window” for the cultivation of high-quality nursing talents in Zhejiang.
